The terms that govern your use of Utopia Payments.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Utopia Payments, Inc. ("Utopia", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. Our services
Utopia provides billing, payments, and distribution infrastructure, including acting as Merchant of Record where applicable. We may update, improve, or change features over time.
3. Merchant of Record
Where Utopia acts as Merchant of Record, we are the seller of record for your transactions and handle the calculation, collection, and remittance of applicable taxes. You remain responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of the products and content you sell.
4. Fees
Our fees are described on our Pricing page. Fees are deducted from successful transactions. We may change fees with reasonable prior notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Utopia to:
- Sell illegal, fraudulent, or infringing products or services.
- Engage in money laundering, fraud, or any prohibited activity.
- Circumvent our security, compliance, or fraud-prevention systems.
6. Intellectual property
Utopia and its logos are our property. You retain ownership of your own content and grant us the rights necessary to provide the services.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utopia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
